When Second Chance Mission opens its doors, our boutique will offer handpicked secondhand clothing, shoes, and accessories for women, kids, and babies. Every piece will be carefully selected to create a stylish, welcoming boutique experience — all at thrift store prices. Shoppers will find quality items, name brands, and hidden gems, all while supporting a sustainable circular economy.
But this boutique will be more than just a store. It will be operated by women rebuilding their lives — providing real wages, real work experience, and the opportunity to build skills and savings. As women grow and move on to new opportunities, the next woman will step into the role — keeping the cycle of empowerment moving forward.
This boutique is being brought to life with the support of Shey, our Head of Boutique Operations, who is currently living in the same shelter where this mission was born. She brings lived experience, insight, and a deep understanding of the women we aim to serve. When the doors open, she will be on the floor — training, mentoring, and helping create an environment where every woman feels welcome, valued, and ready to succeed.
